It's just not possible for females to procreate with other females, which Knov specifically said all the Chimera Ants are capable of doing. I maintain that the likes of Kite, Zazan, Hina and Pitou are males because of that scene I mentioned earlier with Knov. Obviously Zazan, Pitou and Hina inherited their female looks from some females that the Queen ingested as well. I know Koala sees that girl in Kite, but I don't think that's a determining factor in differentiating whether Kite is a male or female. Yeah, I'm talking about the sex rather than the gender although, I feel like Kite would identify himself as being male even if my theory turns out to be wrong and he actually is biologically female, but that's an argument for another time.Īnyway, back to the topic.

Going off of that, I think it's a pretty safe bet that Kite is a girl. His whole point in that episode was to apologise to Kite since he saw her as the reincarnation of that girl. The episode where we were first introduced to Kite's new persona started off iththe flashback of Koala in which he is clearly says (and it is even shown, several times) that he killed a young girl earlier which looked exactly like Kite.
